John Greenspan worked on the regulatory side of broadcasting as an FCC attorney from 1973-2000. Prior to that he had experience as a classical programmer and part time announcer for WBJC-FM in Baltimore, Maryland. John has always had a strong interest in Jazz and classical music, especially American composers. He hosted Jazz and Classical shows on KSFR, Santa Fe Public Radio before coming to KHFM to host "Classic American Icons." John has served on the boards of The Santa Fe Desert Chorale, The Santa Fe Symphony, The Northern New Mexico Radio Foundation, and The Friends of Santa Fe Jazz.
